Alfredo improved recipes, tried out unusual combinations and risked spices.
Monica and the kids joined in, as if it were a family dinner. They enjoyed welcoming with simplicity and their hospitality was delightful.

What we offer comes from nearby, the Alentejo bread from Dona Ercília, the juice from the oranges of our trees. You will notice the difference in the smell of the fruits, the taste of the bread, the sweetness of the homemade cakes. If we respect the land, it gives us the best. This is our menu.

Lunch is requested light, to enjoy the walks and laziness in the sun. A menu of light and consensual dishes for both adults and children, including salads, pastas or sandwiches, with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

At prime time in Matinha, we regain the communion of the meal, it's time to slow down. The menu is seasonal and changes every day, depending on what nature and local producers give us. The inspiration comes from the Alentejo but also from the countries of all who visit us, a daily inspired cuisine that comforts the stomach and soul. The dinner menu consists of starters, fish dishes, meat dishes and dessert. There are always vegetarian and vegan alternatives available.
