The Estate
They were ten brothers and sisters. Alfredo was the sixth. They always fell asleep listening to classical music
He held on to those genius musical scores. Shortly after marrying Monica, he left behind OPorto, the city of his childhood, youth and fine arts at Soares dos Reis Art School. They moved to Trás-os-Montes, swinging with the wind. The next destination would be Australia. Soon after, a wedding in Algarve changed their route. They felt nature appeal and decided to stay. It took them sometime to find the place where they would put down their roots.
The 400 square meters original house, without water or electricity, arose amidst the cane fields showing how bigger it could get as well as his family. After Vicente came Santiago and then Mateus. The ecological reserve in the middle of a natural park, flanked by the mountains, was a breeding ground for essential values. Happiness peeked through the leaves, perching on the treehouse that watched them grow.
Since 1996...
With four bedrooms and a kitchen, they started to write this story. Then, they filled all the divisions with love and care, adorned them with Alfredo's paintings, invited guests to their table, and served meals to the sound of classical music.
Painting is the ultimate inspiration
In honour of his grandfather, Joaquim Moreira da Silva, one of the greatest rose breeders in the country, in the first half of the 20th century. He keeps innovating, breaking down walls, building new rooms, always finding something to improve.
Chose To Live Here

He would not trade this place for any other.
He belongs to this land, like all the trees around.
